The 5th International Street Art Festival was completed. Vechro and the team of Art in Progress decorated and gave identity and life to the city of Patras. In such difficult times where the optimism sounds like a utopian and distant feeling, Vechro tried to illuminate the city by filling it with color. Following all the necessary protocols and safety regulations according to COVID-19, the Art in Progress team managed to complete the street festival against the condition. Thus, Vechro as a gold sponsor of the 5th street festival, was there to support the effort of selected artists across the world. Hence, eight unique murals (wall paintings) were created in various spots in Patras. Those murals were inspired by historical momentums and well known people from Greece and the world. Murals that stimulate the interest and give a special dynamic & character to the city. Some of these personalities are Melina Mercury, Albert Einstein, and Ludwig van Beethoven. Regarding communication and extroversion strategy, the Greek varnish industry, Vechro, support every form of art, especially, when the artists leave their personal mark through their works. Their message travels the world and has spread hope in times when the dullness exists to all Greek households. This year’s event left a unique mark both in the field of art and in the psychology of people. It is of high importance to mention the difficult conditions and the restrictions under which this year’s festival ended.

The 6th International Street Art Festival 2021 is on its way with new original and unique murals that will decorate with hope and passion the city.
