Vechro paints School Buildings in the wildfire-stricken areas
The Greek paints and varishes industry Vechro, stands next to the residents of Northern Evia by became a medium of help for the renewal and regeneration of the place. Vechro is coloring the area in order for the power of color to become beacon of hope and optimism for the future.
The first mural (wall-painting) started from the Primary School of Ag. Anna-North Evia, which hosts students from nearby villages too. This school building is part of the program " PAINTING SCHOOL BUILDINGS" in the wilfire-stricken areas, which is implemented by the team of Urban Act. Vechro as a proud sponsfor of this projects supports, since the very first beginning, events and actions that are related to the regeneration of affected areas.
Thus, October for the locals started with a lot of color and surprises, after the end of the first 3 murals by the artist, Life in colour. The students had the opportunity to be an active part of the process by decorating the walls with their "own touches".
We, in Vechro, believe that color has the power to change everything, even the most unpleasant memories!
