The 4th Skiathos Palace Cup 2019 was sucessfully competed
For the 4th year, the Skiathos Palace Cup 2019 (10 -12 May) was successfully organized by the Skiathos Nautical Club with the participation of crews from Greece and Europe. The type of race "MatchRacing" is the most modern trend in sailing due to its uniqueness, more specifically, the race is held near the shore, offering intensity & spectacle to spectators and attracting fans worldwide.
This race meets all the requirements set by the World Sailing Federation (ISAF) while the points earned by the crews participating in this race are counted in the MatchRacing world rankings and are recognized by the Hellenic Sailing Federation.
The winners of Skiathos Cup 2019 was:
George Karadimas – WhiskeyFlagTeam.
George Marinos – Nova Sailing.
Manos Chatzigiannis - Space Lab Sailing Team.
The Greek well-known paint industry Vechro, No1 company in Total Sales and Ecological Certification in Greece since 2003 until now, was Gold Sponsor for another year of this exciting race, in the context of its sponsorship program that aims to support innovative actions related to sports, ecology and the promotion of our country abroad
The chairman of the Board and CEO of Vechro mrs. Chatzinikola-Dima was in Skiathos island where she received an honorary distinction as a sponsoring company of this race.
