Gold Award for Vechro
Vechro was awarded with the "Gold Award" in the category of " Innovative Consumer Product Award" for the Smaltoplast Silk product at the "Made in Greece 2019" awards which took place at the Athens Concert Hall on December 16, 2019.
The "Made in Greece" awards is an initiative of the Helleninc Academy of Marketing (EL.AM) which aims to highlight and reward companies that thrive in creating products with added value in the Greek market and respectively Greek economy. Nominations can be made by products with specific attributes such as innovation-based products that their outcomes are addressed in the Greek market. For Vechro, Smaltoplast Silk is the only certified ecological, hypoallergenic, odorless, antimicrobial which can be characterized as a "shield" for asthma and allergies in favor of human life and environment.
The evaluation criteria are not only indicate the importance and the usefulness of the product innovation attributes but also its ingenuity towards competitors that can be originate either in Greece or abroad. Thus, the benefits that may arise by the consumers and the demand can be another criterion. Furthermore, the product life cycle or else the trade curve, as well as the future prospects for the international market are also oulined as some of the criteria. Last but not least, significant criteria are the ones related to the preservation of innovation from competition and the degree of participation in some Greek productive factors such as work, facilities, raw materials, inflows etc.)
